Quarterlife is published by Zac Frulloni, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at zfrulloni@gmail.com about anything in this policy.
Your chosen topics, your saved messages, your recently seen messages, your reminder times and your onboarding progress are stored on your iPhone and in the app's shared storage so widgets can read them. We cannot see any of it. Deleting the app removes it. You can also clear it from Settings › Reset local data.
Reminders are only set up if you ask for them. When you do, we send the following to our delivery service so it knows what to send and when:
Turning reminders off, or using Reset local data, asks our service to delete that record. Push notifications are delivered by Apple; Apple's handling of them is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to check whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and the purchase information Apple provides. It does not receive your name or email from us.
We use the following service providers, each bound by a written agreement to provide the same or equal protection of your data as set out in this policy, to process it only on our instructions, and to keep it secure:
A reminder record is kept for as long as reminders are switched on, and is deleted when you turn them off, reset local data, or after 90 days of the device token becoming permanently invalid. Nothing else is retained on our servers.
Because we hold no account, the only data we can hold about you is the reminder record described above. You can delete it yourself at any time by turning reminders off or using Reset local data. If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to processing, and to complain to your local supervisory authority. Email us and we will help.
This app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
